Ian (Iman) Avayee is a registered Migration Agent and a member of Migration Institute of Australia and Migration Alliance.

Ian is widely educated; he has a Masters in Applied Physics from Sharif University of Technology of Iran, a Master of Religious Roots of Europe (Christianity) from the University of Copenhagen, a Bachelor in Network Security (Microsoft Certified Engineer), and holds a Graduate Certificate in Australian Immigration Law & Practice from Victoria University.

Ian started his career in Australia under Dr Sirous Ahmadi’s supervision. Dr Ahmadi is one of the most well-known and successful agents in Australia, and is safe to say Ian was trained by the best.
As a refugee himself, he migrated to Europe in 1999, and as a result has gained this passionate desire to help other migrants wishing to start a new life.

On early 2009 he came to Australia with a student visa, and applied onshore as an Skilled Migrant; and finally, became a citizen. This gave him a good understanding of how the system works.
Ian possesses over 18 years’ experience as a counsellor assisting people and migrants of all nationalities through difficult times of separation, death, and grief in EU and Australia.

His experiences and passions about asylum seekers during the last two decades, resulted him to push his services above and beyond industry standards and achieve excellent personal outcomes for his protection seeking clients.

Ian is a Justice of Peace in NSW and performs voluntary work for NSWJA. He now owns and manages AVA Migration Agency.
